Shahid Kapoor Hikes His Remuneration For Next Film?

Mumbai, March 2 - One of the most popular stars from the Hindi film industry Shahid Kapoor has hiked his remuneration for his next upcoming action thriller directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. ## Shahid Kapoor is on cloud nine after two blockbusters in the form of Padmaavat and Kabir Singh and hence his market value increased as he got huge appreciation from the audience and critics alike in both of his blockbusters.## According to a report Shahid Kapoor has charged around 25% more than his last acting fees for the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial which works out to be around 38-40cr. The actor has also decreased his fee for Jersey as it got delayed due to the omicron. ## Jersey is going to be the next theatrical release of Shahid Kapoor which is slated to be released on 14th April 2022. Mumbai, March 2 - The blockbuster Sairaat director Nagraj Manjule is all set to make his debut in the Hindi cinemas with Jhund which is slated to release this Friday. Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of a professor who motivates the street children to form a football team.## In a chat with Mid-Day, the filmmaker revealed why he decided to make the film in Hindi and work with Amitabh Bachchan. Mumbai, March 1, 2022: Gangubai Kathiawadi continues its glorious run at the box office with strong collections even on weekdays. The film was coming from a huge weekend total for female-centric films with close to 40 Cr and there were general expectations that the film might drop on weekdays. The film did drop on Monday just like every film does after a big weekend but Gangubai Kathawadi held better and as a standalone number, the collections on Monday were simply fantastic as it recorded a similar number of footfalls compared to day one.
