Allu Arjun's Pushpa: The Rise Emerges the Number 1 Opener of 2021

Hyderabad, Dec 18, 2021: The hugely anticipated Pan-India film Pushpa: The Rise starring Icon star Allu Arjun emerges as the biggest opener of this year beating the previous highest of Vakeel Saab starring Pawan Kalyan. ## The All India First-day figure of Pushpa: The Rise is 52.80cr gross edging past the previous highest of Vakeel Saab's 46.50 Cr gross. In Nett collections, Pushpa: The Rise has collected 45.45cr against 40.10cr of Vakeel Saab. ## In Telugu, Pushpa: The Rise is still behind Vakeel Saab's as Pushpa has collected 38.15 Cr against 40.1cr of Vakeel Saab but in other markets, Pushpa has comfortably beaten Vakeel Saab to emerge as the number 1 opener of this year. ## In the Hindi belt, Pushpa: The Rise has collected approx 3 Cr on the first day which is a good enough number as the film was hardly promoted in the Hindi markets. Pushpa: The Rise Creates All-Time Record In Nizam

Box Office: Allu Arjun's Maiden Pan-India Film 'Pushpa - The Rise' Strikes Gold In Hindi

Mumbai, December 18 - Allu Arjun's maiden Pan-India film, "Pushpa - The Rise" found a large appreciation among the Hindi audience. Against all odds, the Sukumar-directed opened to a very nice Rs. 3 crores net in Hindi on the first day (Friday). ## The opening day's Hindi collection speaks about the fan-following of Allu Arjun among the Hindi audience. The box office numbers become even larger knowing the fact that it had a limited release in North, plus, it was up against a monster like "Spider-Man: No Way Home", which grabbed most of the multiplex screens. That's not all, the makers hardly promote the film in Hindi. ## "Pushpa - The Rise" takes a bigger start than most of the Bollywood films, released during the covid-19 pandemic. Box Office: Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa - The Rise' Set For The Biggest Opening During Covid-19 Pandemic

Hyderabad, December 17 - Telugu superstar Allu Arjun's first Pan-India release, "Pushpa - The Rise" is all set to become the biggest box office grosser during the covid-19 pandemic in India. Released over 3000 screens, "Pushpa" netted an estimated Rs. 55 crore gross on the first day (Friday) for all languages. ## Directed by Sukumar, "Pushpa - The Rise" crossed Pawan Kalyan's Telugu hit "Vakeel Saab's" Rs. 46.50 crores. It also becomes the first Indian film to gross over Rs. 50 crores during the health crisis on the first day. Though the large share of 1st day's collection came through the Telugu version, the Hindi and Tamil versions contributed an estimated Rs. 5-7 crore gross. The Kannada and Malayalam versions couldn't release due to some issues. ## "Pushpa - The Rise", for the Hindi version, grossed an estimated Rs. 2.40 crores despite the limited release due to the "Spider-Man: No Way Home" and other Hindi releases. As compared to the other Hindi dubbed releases, "Pushpa" currently stands (according to early estimates) at number three after "Baahubali - The Beginning" (6.50 crores), and "KGF" (2.65 crores). ## Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, and Muttamsetty Media, "Pushpa - The Rise" was one of the biggest releases of the year in India, and it totally lived up to the expectations. Pushpa: The Rise Hindi Theater Experience: Complete Entertainment

Dec 17, 2021: Being a south Industry fan (also a movie fan), always wanted to see good south movies in Cinema either dubbed Hindi version or English subtitle with the original version. From the first look of Pushpa: The Rise and with the announcement of the Hindi release, already decided to watch Pushpa in the theater. ## And today, the day came, first watched Spiderman: No way Home, enjoy that film too, and then came to second theaters with the only expectations that only 10-15 people will be there in the theater. But I was wrong, When we entered the cinema hall, at least 40-50 people were already there. The final count was 60-70. ## Now, Pushpa Shows started and we forgot that we were watching a dubbed version or original, Dubbing was good but the story of this film was very good and took into the world of Pushpa. ## Then, It was Allu Arjun's show all over, What a Swag, Fighting Scene, Comedy Elements, and most importantly, his body language was enough to entertain throughout the show. I totally loved his character. ## Rashmika Mandana's part was also good and the romance between Allu Arjun and her was taking the story to another level. It was lovely and very realistic in terms of romantic scenes. ## Other characters were also well-written and justified with the movie. ## In the cinema hall, At least, 20-30 times people whistled for Allu Arjun's Swag and on Fight Scenes. The cheering for him was almost constant throughout the show. ## Songs were good even in Hindi dubbing but only 2 songs were not good in Hindi dubbing. Allu Arjun To Hold A Hindi Press Meet In Mumbai On December 16 To Promote 'Pushpa - The Rise'

Mumbai, December 15 - Telugu superstar Allu Arjun is busy giving interviews and in promotional activities for his upcoming action thriller film, "Pushpa - The Rise". The makers had held a grand pre-release event of the film on December 12 in Hyderabad, in which noted Telugu filmmakers and actors had participated. ## Directed by Sukumar, "Pushpa" is one of the most anticipated films and it will be Allu Arjun's first film to release in multiple languages. Hyderabad, December 13 - Filmmaker SS Rajamouli, who broke the barriers of languages with Prabhas-fronted "Baahubali" films, has set his eyes on bigger things now. While his upcoming directorial "RRR" gearing up for Jan. 7, 2022, release in multiple languages, the ace filmmaker wants Allu Arjun to follow the same path in promoting his upcoming film "Pushpa - The Rise". ## The pre-release event of "Pushpa" was held on December 12 in Hyderabad, which noted Telugu filmmakers, actors participated. After putting on a thundering show at the box office, the action thriller has crossed Rs. 100 crores worldwide gross and has become NBK's first film to achieve the feet. ## Directed by Boyapati Srinu, "Akhanda" already became the highest opening week grosser for NBK, earning Rs. 67.55 crores net in the extended 8-day week. The strong word of mouth helped it to maintain the pace throughout the second weekend for Rs. 9.15 crores. With total worldwide gross collection stands at Rs. 101.50 crores, including the staggering India gross of 89 crores, the movie has turned out to be a hugely profitable venture for the distributors, with an AP/TG share of 52.07 crores. ## The film is a huge blockbuster for its investors in Nizam and other areas. In Nizam alone, it fetched Rs. 17.42 crores gross over 11 days, followed by Ceded with Rs. 13.27 crores. Power Star Pawan Kalyan Takes A Strong Stand Against Andhra Pradesh Government

Hyderabad, December 12 - Telugu superstar and Jana Sena Chief, Pawan Kalyan is continuing to attack the Andhra Pradesh government over various issues, including the movie ticket price issue in the state. The state government is alleged to have put limits on the theatrical run of certain films including Pawan Kalyan's "Vakeel Saab". ## The government recently passed a bill that put restrictions on ticket prices. While many actors and filmmakers have put their views forward over the ticket price issue, Pawan Kalyan has been quite verbal about the same and have criticized the government on many occasion and it seems, he is not backing out. ## The superstar addressed a relly in Mangalgiri after one day Deeksha against the privatization of Vizag Steel Plant. During the rally, Pawan Kalyan alleged that the government is targeting his movies and has reduced ticket prices. He said that he will not succumb to the government's tactics and if necessary, he will show his movies for free to the public. ## "Targeting my films, the government has reduced ticket prices in the state. I will not fear or step back even if the government stops screening my films. If the situation escalates to that stage, I will not hesitate to show films to the public for free", he said.## "The government argues that there is no transparency in ticket rates and collections. I am asking the government have you maintained any rationale or transparency in fixing liquor rates?" the Vakeel Saab actor added.## Pawan Kalyan's "Vakeel Saab" had earned over Rs. 137 crores worldwide.
