Hyderabad, August 6, 2021: The South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) is all set to return after two years. The popular award show, SIIMA rewards the artistic and technical achievements of the South Indian film industry. Varun Tej's Boxing Drama 'Ghani' Sets Diwali 2021 As Theatrical Release

Hyderabad, August 5, 2021: Varun Tej's much-awaited boxing drama film, Ghani, is all set to release worldwide on Diwali this year in theaters. The Telugu movie, written and directed by Kiran Korrapati, was supposed to release on July 30 in theaters, but due to the covid-19 pandemic, the makers postponed the release. ## Ghani is produced by Sidhu Mudda, and Allu Bobby under the banners of Renaissance Pictures, and Allu Bobby Company. The movie also stars Saiee Manjrekar in the female lead role alongside a supporting cast including Upendra, Suniel Shetty, Jagapathi Babu, and Naveen Chandra. Allu Arjun's PAN-INDIA Movie 'Pushpa The Rise' To Release On Christmas 2021

Hyderabad, August 3, 2021: One of the highly-awaited Pan-India films, Pushpa: The Rise or Pushpa: Part 1, starring Allu Arjun is all set to thrill the audience on Christmas 2021. Sankranthi 2022 Festival Perfectly Poised To Witness Mega Box Office Clash Of Telugu Biggies!

Hyderabad, July 29, 2021: The relentless covid-19 pandemic hardly have allowed the entertainment sector to move ahead in the last one and a half years. While the two-third of 2020 had completely vanished, the year 2021 begin on a positive note for the South Indian film industry, however, it too didn't last long because of the second covid-19 wave. The cinemas were ordered to close again, and with that, the many big stars' movies were again forced to postpone across languages. ## The pandemic has not only wiped out the release plans of the films but also has shortened the release window as there are so many films ready for their big-screen debut. While some movies have opted for direct-to-digital release, most of the others are waiting for cinemas to reopen. Since there is not much wide window available for the films to release, box office clashes are bound to happen. ## To begin with, Sankranthi 2022 seems to be the first festival to light up with the release of some of the biggest Telugu films. As things stand now, Makar Sankranti 2022 may witness a mega box office clash of Telugu biggies. Since it is the first festival of the year, makers would want to cash in the opportunity to lure the audiences which could turn out to be a box office bonanza. If reports are to be believed, there are at least 5 films that will be releasing on the Sankranthi 2022 occasion. ## Pawan Kalyan - Rana Daggubati's yet-untitled film, and Mahesh Babu's "Sarkaru Vaari Paata" have already been confirmed to release on Sankranthi 2022 on January 12 and 13 respectively. Apart from these two films, Prabhas' period romantic film "Radhe Shyam" has also set January 14 release. There is buzz that Dil Raju production's "F3" will also be released around that time. ## Apart from outright Telugu films, Thalapathy Vijay's "Beast" is said to be making its debut on Pongal 2022. Interestingly, "Beast" will be Vijay's second back-to-back Pongal release after "Master" in 2021. "Master" was one of the first biggies to release in cinemas after reopening early this year, and it did wonders at the box office, earning over Rs. 150 crores net in India. There are talks that "Beast" will also be releasing in the Telugu dubbed version. ## There is no doubt that if the covid-19 pandemic remains under control, 2022 could prove to be a game-changing year for the film industry. Hyderabad, July 27, 2021: The festival of Sankranthi 2022 is going to be epic for Telugu cinema lovers who will witness one of the biggest Box Office clashes on the auspicious occasion. Elaborating it further, Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata will be competing with Pawan Kalyan - Rana Daggubati's yet-untitled film on Sankranthi 2022. ## Directed by Saagar K Chandra, the PSPKRana movie is said to be the official Telugu remake of the 2020 Malayalam action thriller film, Ayyappanum Koshiyum. The Telugu remake marks Kalyan and Daggubati's first collaboration. Produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, the movie recently resumed shooting in Hyderabad. ## Pawan Kalyan is playing the role of a police inspector as Bheemla Nayak. Trivikram has penned the dialogues while Thaman S has composed the music of the film. Sithara Entertainment took to Twitter and shared a video giving a small glimpse from the sets of its #ProductionNo12 and also announced the release date. ## ## On the other hand, Sarkaru Vaari Paata was officially announced last year on 31 May 2020, on the occasion of Babu's father Krishna's birthday. Directed by Parasuram, the Geetha Govindam director called the project a "dream come true" moment as the movie marks his first collaboration with the actor. The movie also stars Keerthy Suresh as the female lead. ## Sarkaru Vaari Paata is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, 14 Reels Plus, and G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment while S. Thaman has composed the music. The movie is scheduled to release in January 2022 coinciding with Sankranti. ## Meanwhile, it is the second time in a row when Mahesh Babu's film with be clashing at the box office with another big star's movie. His last film "Sarileru Neekevvaru" had completed with Allu Arjun's "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" with both released one day apart. Both the movie did very well at the box office and became blockbusters with Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo crossing net Rs. 200 crore mark. ##

Mumbai, July 26, 2021: SS Rajamouli's magnum opus, RRR, is making all the right noise from every aspect of the film. The period drama film is touted to be India's one of the biggest films ever and it will feature some of the biggest stars of Indian cinema. ## Meanwhile, on Monday (July 26), India's biggest music labels - Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Lahari Music, have announced that they have bagged the music rights to SS Rajamouli's much-awaited film. SS Rajamouli To Shoot A Promotional Song On Friendship Anthem For RRR Movie

Hyderabad, July 21, 2021: SS Rajamouli's period action drama, RRR, is the most anticipated Indian film. The master filmmaker has promised to provide the best theatrical experience one can ever feel. The primary shooting of the film has been wrapped up and only a song or two is left for the complete wrap on the filming. ## Meanwhile, Rajamouli is currently shooting for a promotional song, for which, a big set has been erected for Rs. 6.5 crores. Since the movie is based on a friendship set in the 1920s, the promotional song is said to be a friendship anthem.
