Hyderabad, September 11 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR's much-awaited action drama Devara: Part 1 is gearing up for the Pan India release on September 27. The trailer of the movie was launched on September 10 during an event in Mumbai and it received good reception. ## The trailer of Devara scored 55+ million across social media platforms in the first 24 hours, according to the makers. Hyderabad, September 3 - Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan's blockbuster action drama Gabbar Singh was re-released on the occasion of his birthday yesterday and as expected, the movie scored the biggest opening for a re-release Indian movie at the worldwide box office. ## Gabbar Singh had previews on Sunday before a full-fledged release the next day. The film grossed approximately 6.25 crores in India on its opening day, including previews. This makes it the biggest re-release domestic opener, beating Mahesh Babu's Murari and Thalapathy Vijay's Ghilli which grossed around 4.75 crores each. ## Overseas, Harish Shankar's directorial scored around 75 lahks, for a worldwide opening of 7+ crores. With this, it has also become the biggest worldwide Indian re-release opener, surpassing Murari and Businessmen which grossed around 5.25 crores each on the first day. ## With such a good start, one assumes the film would go on to score a big lifetime re-release collection but that's not the case here. Prabhas-Fronted 'Kalki 2' Shoot and Release Date Plans Announced

Hyderabad, August 30 - Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin, has been a massive box office success and the way it concluded has increased the excitement for its sequel to the next level, however, there is a catch. ## While the buzz around Kalki 2 is at an all-time high, the producers have confirmed that the movie won't be hitting the big screens until 2028. ## Producers and sister duo Priyanka Dutt and Swapna Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies were present at the screening of Kalki 2898 AD at the Moscow Film Festival where they said that the filming of Kalki 2 will start in the next five or six months, around January or February 2025. Box Office: Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Indra' Re-Release Scored Very Good Opening Worldwide

Hyderabad, August 23 - Megastar Chiranjeevi's all-time blockbuster movie Indra (2002) was re-released in theatres on August 22, on the occasion of his 69th birthday and as expected, the action drama scored a very good opening at the domestic and worldwide box office.## Directed by B. Gopal, Indra grossed approximately 1.85 crores in Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) on its first day and this is one of the biggest openings for Telugu re-release titles in recent times. Additionally, the movie grossed approximately 40 lakh in the rest of Indian markets, for a domestic opening of 2.25 crores gross.## Overseas, Indra scored a fantastic collection, especially in the USA where it grossed an estimated 50 lakh while the total overseas opening day collection is approximately 75 lakh for around 3 crores gross worldwide start which is excellent for a re-release title.## Originally released in 2002, Indra stormed the box office back then and went on to become the highest-grossing Telugu movie in history at the time as well as the all-time highest-grossing South-Indian film with a worldwide collection of over 50 crores gross.## Stay tuned...

Nani's 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' Crosses $100K Pre-Sales At The USA Box Office

Los Angeles, August 22 - Telugu star Nani's much-awaited action thriller film Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is all set for a very good opening at the USA box office. The movie is directed by Vivek Athreya and produced by DVV Entertainment. ## According to Venky Box Office, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram's pre-sales for the USA premiere have crossed $100K with over 5000 tickets sold. The trend of pre-sales has been excellent so far and if it maintains this pace, the movie is expected to score Nani's highest premiere, which is scheduled on August 28.## The movie is said to be Nani's most expensive film with a budget of around 90 crore. The movie is having superb buzz among the audiences which is expected to lead to a very good start at the box office. The reports among the Telugu media are positive for the movie which could be the next Telugu box office hit. ## In the film, Surya (Nani), who fights against injustice on Saturday, locks horns with corrupt Inspector R. Dayanand (S. J. Suryah), who brutally attacks innocent people for petty reasons. Pakistani Actress Sajal Ali To Play A Pivotal Role In Prabhas' Film With Director Hanu Raghavapudi: Report

Hyderabad, August 20 - Pan India superstar Prabhas and Sita Ramam director Hanu Raghavapudi have teamed up for the first time for a period action drama film. The movie, tentatively titled Fauji, was recently announced officially with Mythri Movie Makers coming on board to produce it. ## With the official announcement, debutante Imanvi was confirmed to play the female lead role opposite Prabhas in the film. Now, according to the report by Filmfare, the makers have also roped in Pakistani actress Sajal Ali to essay a pivotal role. ## Sajal Ali, a prominent face in Pakistani cinema, previously worked in India in the Bollywood movie Mom (2017) which was the last film of the legendary late actress Sridevi in a prominent role. Hyderabad, August 15 - Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted epic blockbuster Kalki 2898 AD has completed 50 days at the box office on Independence Day, August 15. Nag Ashwin directs the movie that also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani, in key roles.## Kalki 2898 AD was released on June 27 and scored the third biggest opening for an Indian movie by grossing around 175 crores at the worldwide box office. Since then, the sci-fi epic has been unstoppable and has had one of the longest runs for a Telugu title in recent times.## Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, the movie has grossed an estimated 1042 crores, including 767 crores at the domestic box office in 50 days so far. Ram Pothineni's 'Double iSmart' Worldwide Theatrical Business Details

Hyderabad, August 14 - Telugu star Ram Pothineni's much-awaited sci-fi action drama film Double iSmart is finally hitting the big screen on August 15 and the movie is looking to make big at the box office during the long holiday weekend due to Independence Day and Raksha Bandhan.## Directed by Puri Jagannadh and also starring Sanjay Dutt and Kavya Thapar, Double iSmart has managed to fetch record theatrical business for Ram Pothineni-starrer. According to T2BLive, the sequel's worldwide theatrical business has been valued at 48 crores and it will need to score around 80 crores gross to emerge as a box office hit.## In Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana), the theatrical rights of Double iSmart have been locked at 39 crores, including 15.50 crores for the Nizam area, 6 crores for Ceeded and 17.50 crores for Andhra regions.
