Dharma Productions Partners With AA Films To Acquire North India Theatrical Rights Of Jr. NTR's 'Devara: Part 1'

Mumbai, April 10 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR who rose to nationwide fame after mega-blockbuster RRR, is gearing up for his next highly-awaited Pan India film Devara: Part 1. Directed by Koratala Siva, the action drama film also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in pivotal roles. ## Produced by Yuvasudha Arts and N. T. R. Arts, Devara is scheduled to release this October and now, in a major boost to the film's theatrical distribution outside the local Telugu market, Karan Johar's Dharma Productions has partnered with AA Films to acquire the theatrical distibution rights for North India. ## The studio announced the news on April 10 on social media platform X, stating, "Brace yourself for a mass hurricane! We are proud to announce our partnership for the north theatrical distribution rights for the next big cinematic experience in Indian cinema! Hyderabad, April 3 - Director Prasanth Varma's superhero movie Hanuman, starring Teja Sajja, has been one of the biggest highlights of 2024 as far as the Indian movies are concerned. Released amid less expectations during the Sankranthi festival weekend, the movie proved everyone wrong with its sensational performance. ## Hanuman hit the big screens on January 12, amid bigger titles in the form of Guntur Kaaram, Saindhav, and Naa Saami Ranga. Mumbai, February 11 - Director Prasanth Varma's superhero movie Hanuman has unlocked a box office achievement as it has crossed 50 crores net in the dubbed Hindi version while worldwide, it is heading towards 300 crores gross mark. ## Starring Teja Sajja in the lead role, Hanuman had a limited release to begin with as it started with approximately 2.10 crores net in Hindi. However, with super positive word of mouth, the movie started gaining momentum and now on its 30th day, it has topped 50 crores net mark. ## Hanuman is the 11th South Indian and 7th Telugu film to hit 50 crores net collection in Hindi. The total net collection of the film currently stands at approximately 194.50 crores, including a little over 50 crores in Hindi alone.## The film is also heading towards hitting 300 crores gross at the worldwide box office, however, it may fall short of the target. Mumbai, February 9 - Pan India superstar Prabhas' action drama film Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire has officially revealed its digital partner for the Hindi version. The movie, directed by Prashanth Neel, is already streaming on Netflix in the South Indian languages. ## Since the film's Netflix release in South Indian versions, there have been enquiries about the streaming date of the Hindi version. DVV Entertainment Officially Confirms Release Date of Superstar Pawan Kalyan's 'OG'

Hyderabad, February 6 - Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan's action drama film OG directed by Saaho fame Sujeeth has confirmed its official arrival date on the big screens. The movie is produced by D. V. V. Danayya of DVV Entertainment. ## Over the last couple of weeks, the news in Telugu making rounds about the film's release date and now, DVV Entertainment has announced with a new poster that the much-awaited actioner will be hitting worldwide theatres on September 27, 2024, in multiple languages. ## The shoot of OG is currently on pause but will resume soon to get the film completed much before the release date. Box Office: Hanuman Emerges Biggest Telugu Sankranthi Grosser of All-Time

Hyderabad, February 3 - Directed Prasanth Varma's superhero movie Hanuman has created a record for a Telugu title. It has become the highest-grossing Telugu movie ever to release during the Sankranthi festival weekend. ## Starring Teja Sajja, Hanuman was released on January 12 and with glowing word of mouth, the film beats all other films released around it and eventually becomes the biggest Telugu grosser ever to debut during the particular festival. ## Hanuman has grossed around 270 crores at the worldwide box office as I type this, and has beaten superstar Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo which scored approximately 269 crores worldwide in 2020 to emerge the biggest Sankranthi blockbuster of all-time. ## Unlike Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Hanuman was released in multiple languages and apart from Telugu, the film is getting good dividends from Hindi. In 2023, some of the biggest Tollywood stars will be in action with films that are some of the most anticipated ones among the nationwide audiences. ## The trade is quite optimistic about the upcoming Pan-Indian films regarding their box-office prospects, however, projections are split as far as their overseas business is concerned. According to the latest reports in Tollywood media, the overseas rights of Devara, Game Changer, Vishwambhara, and OG are locked. ## Jr. NTR-led "Devara" is easily one of the biggest Telugu films that reunited him with director Koratala Siva. The film was scheduled to release on April 5 this year but has now reportedly been postponed to a new date. It is said that Hamsini Entertainment has acquired the overseas theatrical rights of the film for 27 crores. The makers are now planning to release the film in September this year. ## According to reports, the overseas theatrical rights of "Game Changer" have been bagged by Phars Films for 23 crores. The overseas business of the movie got hit by the continuous delay but it is expected to fetch good business for the domestic market. ## Megastar Chiranjeevi teamed up with director Mallidi Vassishta for a socio-fantasy film titled "Vishwambhara". The makers recently released a concept first look teaser which instantly caught the attention of the fans. The movie is carrying a very good buzz among the audiences as well as the trade and as a result, it fetched a good overseas deal. As per reports, Sarigama Cinemas acquired the overseas rights of Vishwambhara for 18 crores which is very good business.
